Team Knighten and Century 21

It has been quite a while since my last post and I feel like I have accomplished a lot in those six months. Most of my time was spent between bartending at Mitchell’s Fish Market with my brother and becoming a licensed real estate agent. My mother has been in the industry for nearly 30 years and her success has left her in need of some assistance. A few weeks ago, I quit my job at the bar to become a full-time Realtor! I have SO much to learn but between my mom’s experience, the excellent training programs of Century 21, and my background in finance/real estate at the University of Central Florida, I’m confident I will be able to make this career lucrative and enjoyable.

In other news, I am considering a blog dedicated to Team Knighten (as we call ourselves) and all of our real estate endeavors.

This is the first name-tag I have ever enjoyed wearing.

A short walk

My mother and I went for a four mile walk this afternoon as a “dry run” for what it will be like to explore while carrying a loaded backpack. It was a very enjoyable experience, even the little bit of rain didn’t bother me since I had a plastic bag for my iPhone. My Ecco Biom trail shoes could not be more perfect for this mixture of sidewalks, grassy fields, and gravel paths. They are comfortable, light, and ventilate well. The excitement keeps building as September 23rd comes ever closer.
